Registered Nurse New

Pride Health is hiring a Travel Med-Surg Registered Nurse to support our client’s medical facility, which is based in Columbus, Ohio. This permanent opportunity is a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to adult and geriatric patients diagnosed with various cancers (e.g., endometrial, bladder, renal, ovarian, and cervical).
• Administer chemotherapy treatments and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Participate in clinical trials, assisting with data collection and documentation.
• Perform specialized oncology procedures such as brachytherapy and neobladder care.
• Implement and adhere to infection prevention protocols.
• Monitor telemetry readings, interpret dysrhythmias, and respond appropriately to patient condition changes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and utilize rapid response teams as needed.
• Perform feeding tube care and management.
• Administer IV therapy, blood products, and maintain central lines.
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using EPIC (computerized charting system).

Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) license with a minimum of 2 years of Med Surg/Tele nursing experience.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Proficient in medical-surgical and telemetry nursing, including interpreting dysrhythmias and intervening appropriately.
• Experience administering chemotherapy and performing oncology-specific procedures like brachytherapy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Demonstrated commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.

Job Type: Contract (Travel)

Schedule: 3x12 Rotating

Pay Range: $60/hr (Negotiable)

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
